Parts Blasting

Blasting involves an abrasive material (steel shot, aluminum oxide, sand, beads, other media) that is forced against a part to be treated. This results in rust and contaminants being removed from the part and forming a surface profile desirable for coating application and allowing bonding of coating.

We have the capability to pretreat parts using a variety of blasting media either in an automated process or by hand. With large-scale equipment on-site, we can do automatic blasting of parts up to 4' x 5' and are able to tailor blasting needs to customer specifications.
